Artist Statement
My art is about communication. Each painting’s abstract composition is legible. I utilize shape-based writing systems such as Braille, Morse code and Cuneiform to create my composition. I want the novice viewer to experience the paradigm shift once they are aware that the abstract shapes and colors have exact meaning.
